Hieu Nguyen’s Versatile Designs

Designer Hieu Nguyen designs modern, minimalistic, and clean interiors with an edge. The following collection of images are a testament to his versatility–there are muted color palettes with simple, fluid renderings for the bachelor-pad-worthy rooms, and more vibrant, oranges and warm wood accents for a kids’ room and guest room sitting area. His designs span castle-inspired interiors, complete with hanging, iron-wrought chandeliers, wooden and stone interiors, and deep red tapestries to sleek, modern, white kitchens and luxurious living rooms for the modern-day home-owner. Nguyen’s work cuts across the board on various moods, color palettes, styles, age groups, and social groups and is a truly impressive collection.

Industrial Loft

Israel-based designers, Ando-Studio, were prompted with the design for this industrial loft out of a desire to create an open and eclectic free space, with a lot of attention paid to detail. They sought to create an authentic loft with life, movement, and continuity. Spaces were dressed with plenty of books, photos, and art and they installed large windows, to allow plenty of natural light inside. The materials most striking in the loft design are wood, silver metal, glass, and a lot of leathers which are used for the furnishings. Serious and muted colors were used, ranging from tans to dark navy blues. All of this combined, makes for an industrial, but stylish loft for the modern-day creative individual.

Shared Kids’ Rooms

Most kids dream of their own rooms. But for those with large families and fewer rooms to accommodate them individually, most will have to share a room with their sibling(s).
